Help a blog out and let us know who we should be following.
one night my boyfriend and I were talking about movies we each hadn’t seen and he said he’d never seen bambi and I said, bambi will make you cry you have to see bambi. but we couldn’t find bambi anywhere, so we went to various 24-hour stores that sold movies and we were trying to find a walmart but it was really far outside of chicago and we just got lost and were driving around until we saw a denny’s and we were like, what! so we had denny’s instead and then went home. did you know there are no dennys left in chicago?

doing groceries gives me ulcers. I get to the checkout with like no food in my cart and yet it comes out to like 60 bucks. its so friggin stressful. I wish I learned something useful in school. like how to live.

jesse jackson jr wins reelection as Representative for Illinois’s 2nd congressional district by a landslide after half a year of not actually showing up for work or showing his face for no particular reason. FUCKING CHICAGO. WHY DO I LIVE HERE.

I was resting my head on a table in a foodcourt downtown off of clark and lake early yesterday morning before meeting up with my lab group to work on our project. I felt someone tap my shoulder so I looked up. it was an employee, an old man, he was like “oh, oh so sorry..”
I said, “were you just checking if I was dead?” He started laughing,”yea, sorry, it just wouldn’t be the first time”

One extremely meta photo of myself whilst traveling through the forests of southern France. Another medieval fortification built into a cave structure on the cliff face. Unfortunately the very thing I’m taking a picture of, is a carving of something from a contemporary vandal’s hand. Graffiti is unfortunately more common than one would think at archaeological sites. A shame what we do for legacy no? Some people simply want to be a part of “history.”
what I think every time I see a stupid tag on an old, beautiful, brick or stone chicago building.

Im kind of an idiot because I walked through the chicago cultural center today, saw an artist’s installation I liked, took a picture, but forgot to look at the name.

the park where you can’t do any of the things people do in parks. #millenniumpark

I’ll never forget my seventeen year old self riding my bike through chicago being booed and cussed at by grown men on the street just for wearing my mccain ‘08 t-shirt.
